Jacob Fatu Shares His Dream WWE 2K Showcase Mode

WWE 2K26 delivered one of its most compelling Showcase experiences yet, with this year’s mode centered around the career and legacy of “The Best in the World,” CM Punk. Blending iconic matches with fantasy “what if” scenarios and even dream matches that could only happen in WWE 2K26.

Jacob Fatu has quickly become one of WWE’s most popular performers, proudly representing the legendary Anoa’i family, a lineage responsible for producing some of the most iconic names in professional wrestling history such as The Wild Samoans, Yokozuna, The Rock, Jimmy and Jey Uso, their father Rikishi, and the new World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns.

Prior to Fatu joining WWE as an active performer, he revealed that he was hired by 2K via their 2K mocap team for animations and entrances.

During a recent chat thanks to 2K & WWE Games, WWE Superstar Jacob Fatu shared his thoughts on CM Punk being the focus of this year’s Showcase, as well as his view on what his WWE 2K Showcase Mode would look like.

Jacob’s first choice was his 2025 clash with his real-life cousin and leader of the MFT, Solo Sikoa, at SummerSlam inside a Steel Cage for the WWE United States Championship.
"One of them would have to be d*mn Solo kicking my a** in that dmn cage, that would definitely be up in there."

In terms of dream matches, Fatu went on to express he would love to see matches within his own family, including his own father, Sam Fatu, who wrestled as The Tonga Kid, Tama, and The Samoan Savage.
"I would love to incorporate my father and my other uncles just like in 2K25." – Jacob Fatu

Jacob also added further praise for his family’s inclusion in past iterations of the game:
"WWE 2K25 was so heartwarming for us, it was my first video game and my father’s very first video game, then we were all in there. Usually they have us in there and it comes and goes, but we were all there and that’s something special." – Jacob Fatu

With Jacob Fatu's metoric rise within WWE and now being positioned higher up the card in which he is set to feud with fellow Bloodline member and World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns after WrestleMania 42 - It may not be long until we see this all come to fruition.
