WWE is officially on the road to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, and the card is quickly shaping up to be one of the most stacked Showcase of the Immortals in recent memory.

The build began back at the Royal Rumble in early February, and since then, WWE has steadily loaded up the WrestleMania 42 card with blockbuster matchups:

  • Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton

  • World Heavyweight Championship Match: CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns

  • WWE Women’s Championship Match: Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley

  • Women’s World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan

  • WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch

  • Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi

The latest addition came on SmackDown, where Sami Zayn recaptured the United States Championship after Trick Williams accidentally cost Carmelo Hayes the title. That moment set the stage for Zayn to defend against Williams at WrestleMania.

Another major clash brewing is the long-awaited showdown between Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre. Their rivalry dates back to the rumoured attack that sidelined Fatu for months in 2025, and now it all comes to a head in an Unsanctioned Match, where anything goes and WWE holds no responsibility.

As if the card wasn’t already massive, WWE also confirmed that the “Never Seen 17” and recently retired GOAT, John Cena, will serve as the host of WrestleMania 42.

WrestleMania 42 is shaping up as a stellar showcase, you can catch all the action live at home via Netflix (in Australia & Internationally) on Sunday 19th April at 8am AEST & Monday 20th at 8am AEST.

WWE didn’t stop there. On the March 30 episode of Monday Night Raw, even more high-stakes matches were added to the WrestleMania 42 lineup:

  • WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: Penta vs. Dragon Lee vs. JD McDonagh vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Rusev (with one rumoured open spot still to be filled)

  • WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: The Irresistible Forces vs. Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria vs. The Bella Twins

  • Dominik Mysterio vs. Finn Bálor

  • Seth Rollins vs Gunther
