WWE 2K26 delivered one of its most compelling Showcase experiences yet, with this year’s mode centred around the career of CM Punk. Blending iconic matches with fantasy “what if” scenarios and even dream matches that could only happen in WWE 2K26, it naturally raises the question: what would a Showcase look like for other WWE Superstars?
Raquel Rodriguez has built one of the most dominant and steadily evolving careers in WWE’s women’s division, combining power with presence from her early days in NXT through to championship success on the main roster. From her breakout run as Raquel Gonzalez to becoming a cornerstone across multiple divisions, her journey has been defined by growth, resilience, and consistency.
During a recent chat, thanks to WWE Games and 2K, Raquel Rodriguez shared her thoughts on what her own WWE 2K Showcase Mode would look like, from finding success in NXT to making the jump to the main roster and eventually aligning with The Judgment Day alongside the now Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan.
“Raquel’s Showcase would be a very, very long story and journey as well, I would think. It would show her coming up through NXT as Raquel Gonzalez with Dakota Kai. It would show her becoming the first ever Dusty Cup winner.”

The two share deep history. González debuted at NXT TakeOver: Portland in 2020, helping Kai defeat Tegan Nox and aligning herself as Kai’s enforcer, before the partnership eventually turned into a rivalry over the NXT Women’s Championship.
Her vision continues to map out the key milestones that shaped her early career.
“It would show her becoming the first ever women’s tag team champions in NXT. It would show her beating Iyo Sky for the women’s NXT Championship. There’s just so many things, you know, and that’s really like the first four years of my wrestling career.”
After their rivalry, the two reunited and defeated Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) on April 2, 2022, to win the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship, though they lost the titles three days later.
“There’s so much more to go. So it would definitely be a Showcase, I think, as well, of just trials and errors and different things like that.”
It’s undoubtedly a potential Raquel Rodriguez would also include winning the Womens Tag Team Championships alsongide fellow and current Judgement Day member Liv Morgan, with their multiple feuds with Rhea Ripley and most recently with Stephanie Vaquer.
