In a historic move, WWE has officially announced that WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia, marking the first time the company’s biggest annual event will be held outside of North America.
The announcement was made during a press conference in LA, alongside HE Turki Alalshikh, continuing WWE’s long-term partnership with the kingdom of Saudi Saudi Arabia as part of Riyadh Season .
The event is set to take place in 2027 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, which has previously hosted major WWE Premium Live Events including Crown Jewel.
WrestleMania is WWE’s flagship spectacle, drawing fans from around the globe and featuring the biggest matches of the year. Bringing the event to Saudi Arabia is seen as a landmark step in WWE’s global expansion strategy, following years of record-breaking international shows.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque highlighted the significance of the move:
“WrestleMania has always been about making history. Hosting it in Saudi Arabia will showcase WWE on a truly global stage and give our fans here an unforgettable experience.”
While some longtime fans are surprised by WrestleMania leaving North America for the first time in its four-decade history, WWE emphasized that the Saudi edition will feature the same scale, star power, and week-long festivities that have made WrestleMania an institution.
