2K Games Reveal WWE 2K26 Monday Night War Edition

2K Games have officially taken fans back to one of the most defining rivalries in wrestling history with the announcement of WWE 2K26: Monday Night War Edition.

During WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event the Monday Night War Edition was revealed paying tribute to the legendary & heated battle between WWE and WCW that defined an entire era.
The Monday Night Wars saw the two promotions go head-to-head on Monday nights, with WCW famously defeating Raw in the ratings for 83 consecutive weeks, which had a consequential butterfly effect which elevated WWE's programming, leading them to defeat & purchase their very own competition.

The cover art reflects that rivalry, split between iconic stars from both sides of the war. Representing WWE’s Attitude Era are Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H, Kurt Angle, and Chyna, while the WCW side features Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Goldberg, Booker T, and Eric Bischoff.

Following the recent unveiling of the Attitude Era Edition earlier this week, the Monday Night War Edition is doubling down on WWE 2K26’s focus on wrestling’s most exciting & controversial period of the 90's bleeding into the 2000's. While details on gameplay and additional content are still to come, the announcement alone has reignited nostalgia for an era when Monday nights truly meant war.
