After replacing Cody Rhodes to win the title from Sami Zayn on Raw, CM Punk returned to SmackDown as the new Undisputed WWE Champion. Rhodes emerged with a SummerSlam title challenge for The Best In The World.

Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu came to the ring to call out Solo Sikoa, only to end up in a verbal confrontation with Royce Keys. After Fatu left Jimmy on his own, though, Keys lit the fuse on an impromptu match against Uso when he powered Jimmy out of the ring.

Trick Williams vs. Carmelo Hayes Ended in a No Contest
Before a winner could be determined between United States Champion Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes, Baron Corbin returned to WWE out of nowhere to take out both Superstars in a brutal attack.
