After losing his WWE Undisputed Championship due to interference by Sami Zayn, a very somber Kevin Owens addresed the WWE Universe digging into battles outside of the ring with his mothers health but promised he is not done chasing the championship.
This dragged out CM Punk which then led to Gunther & Finn Balor to confront one another to become No.1 contender, so the only way to solve this was for GM Nick Aldis to organise a No.1 contender Triple Threat for the WWE Undisuputed title later that night.Irresistible Forces def. WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green returned to in-ring action wearing a bedazled protective mask alongside Tiffany Stratton against Nia Jax and Lash Legend. Green was repeatedly targeted by Jax, suffering multiple strikes to the face before being led backstage by officials. Green refused to leave and tagged back in, but Jax eventually hit another strike and the Annihilator to secure the victory for her team.Women's United States Champion Jacy Jayne def. Paige
Paige challenged Jacy Jayne for the Women’s United States Championship, but was unable to capture the title. After both Rhodes & Orton were warned by GM Nick Aldis that any physicality would cost them any future shot at the WWE Undisputed Championship, Rhodes & Orton did their very best to provoke each other with Randy getting personal bringing up Cody's past as Randy's travel mate, his wife Brandi Rhodes, father and Hall Of Famer Dusty Rhodes & even his dog Pharaoh. Zayn ultimately struck all three competitors with the championship, forcing a no-contest and standing tall with the title.
